Agnieszka K. Jurek (b.1982)
Received a diploma in photography at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, under the supervision of Witold Węgrzyn and prof. Jadwiga Okrassa.
She works in the field of creative and portrait photography and she explores themes related to the problems of identity and emotional crisis. Published her works in the „Format” and the „Photography Quarterly” magazines.
Laureate of the Konrad Pustoła artistic scholarship funded by Krytyka Polityczna (2022). She received numerous awards, among others, the Budapest International Foto Awards (2020), the Tokyo International Foto Awards (2019) and the International Photography Awards (2010).
