Inclusion
Inclusion can be interpreted in the context of our social relations because people close to us have an undeniable impact on our way of living and they shape us. Agnieszka Jurek focuses on a difficult problem of violence: the artist has taken polaroids in places, which should be safe, and full of intimacy, but they are filled with human harm and pain. A suggestive video complements these photographs. The artist dared to confront with the fundamental question: if the end of a difficult relationship with an addicted person ever has a final closure? Or maybe this kind of experience stigmatises us forever, with an invisible flaw, that might be caught only by the photographic lenses?
